SAMSON    Models S4X4 and S5X5


U.S. and Metric Configurations
 
Cam and lever shaft samsons are available in 4 and 5 inch models to compliment R. D. Dane standard cam and lever systems. Samsons are used on low profile machine bases to support the cam and lever shafts used for tooling actuation. 

Use S4X4 Samson with R. D. Dane CL4 series cam levers and SC6, BC-C4 and SPC-C4 cams. 

Use S5X5 Samson with R. D. Dane CL5 series cam levers and SC8, BC-C5 and SPC-C5 cams.

Note 1 - To fit common flange bearing used with mounting holes as specified. Flange bearings available at additional cost. (See table below for example bearing manufacturers and models.)
Note 2 - Holes F1, F2, G1 and G2 bored for slip fit with TGP shafting. Bore tolerance is +.002 to +.005 inches or +.05 to +.13 millimeters nominal size listed.
Note 3 - Dodge is only known manufacturer of this mount size, (see table below).

Indicates a 5.000 x 5.000 inch un-painted Samson with 1.250 inch diameter bores for lever shafts and a standard 4.125 x 4.125 inch flange bearing mounting hole spacing.
